Chariot Living is led by husband-and-wife founders Nick and Joanna Garzilli. Together they combine expertise in transportation innovation, entrepreneurship, technology, media and human-centered design, united by a shared belief that better mobility creates better places to live. Their vision is to help shape a future where autonomous transportation and thoughtfully designed communities work together to improve everyday life.
Nick Garzilli
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Nick Garzilli is the Founder and CEO of Chariot Living. He leads the company's vision, business development, and long-term platform strategy, bringing together developers, technology partners, operators, and public-sector stakeholders to help shape the future of connected communities.
For nearly two decades, Nick has explored how transportation, infrastructure, and the built environment evolve together. His experience includes executive leadership with ET3 Global Alliance, founding Hyper Chariot, advising and investing in Swyft Cities, and helping advance new approaches to integrated mobility and real estate.
His work in advanced transportation began well before autonomous mobility entered the mainstream. During the early development of the Hyperloop movement, he met with Elon Musk and members of the SpaceX team prior to the publication of the Hyperloop Alpha paper, reflecting his early engagement in next-generation transportation concepts.
Nick has been featured by Bloomberg, BBC Global News, BBC Radio, the Los Angeles Times, and has spoken at conferences on transportation innovation, infrastructure, and future mobility.
His vision for Chariot Living is simple: communities should be designed around people—not traffic. By integrating next-generation mobility into the built environment, he believes cities can become more connected, more valuable, and more enjoyable places to live.
Joanna Garzilli
Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer
Joanna Garzilli is Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Chariot Living, where she leads the company's operations, brand strategy, communications, legal coordination and platform development.
Working closely with Founder and CEO Nick Garzilli, Joanna transforms the company's long-term vision into operational execution—building the systems, partnerships, governance and organizational structure needed to scale Chariot Living.
Before co-founding Chariot Living, Joanna held senior leadership roles in financial services, leading marketing and communications for a U.S. trust company that grew to more than $1.5 billion in assets under administration. She has also built and advised international businesses, moderated industry events, and worked with leaders across business, government and emerging technology.
Joanna is the HarperCollins author of Big Miracles, and her work has been featured by The Washington Post, the BBC and the Daily Mail. Throughout her career, Joanna has been driven by one idea: turning ambitious vision into meaningful progress.
